Tadej Pogacar

Tadej Pogacar is the defining cycling talent of his generation, a Slovenian phenomenon who completed the Triple Crown of Cycling — Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and World Championship in a single year (2024) — a feat achieved only twice before in over a century of professional cycling (by Eddy Merckx in 1974 and Stephen Roche in 1987).

Pogacar burst onto the scene at the 2020 Tour de France with a stunning upset victory at age 21, and has since won four Tours de France, establishing himself as the most dominant Grand Tour rider since the era of Merckx. His explosive climbing ability, fearless descending, and willingness to attack at any moment have made him the most exciting rider in a generation. At just 26, he is already being discussed as a contender for the title of greatest cyclist of all time.
