Meditation Teacher
Tom Evans describes himself as a meditation guide, mystic engineer and storyteller, and as a contemporary alchemist. His work is about awakening human potential with imagination and technology. He is the CIEIO of New Reality Journeys, and his visualisations, books and courses aim to help people awaken nascent aspects of their consciousness, enhance their creativity and welcome transformation with calm, clarity and fun.
He trained as an engineer and brings that curiosity to his spiritual subjects. He writes of researching ideas about time empirically and of looking for ways to put them to practical use. He has written that the Universe turned him into an unexpected meditation guide while he was publishing books. Those who have worked with him praise how simply and naturally he explains complex ideas, bridging meditation, creativity and consciousness.
Writing is a large part of his practice. By 2023 he had published 18 books. They include This We Know, which he wrote in 14 days in 2012, and Soulwave, a channelled novel he describes as post-dystopian cyberpunk. He worked on it for many years. Among his larger projects is the Path to Overstanding, a body of roughly 100 audio modules with 22 meditations on the keys of the Major Arcana and 22 ambient tracks inspired by them. He has also built self-study courses, including Living Timefully, and has taught live guided meditations, including talks on living well through a short daily meditation.
More recently he hosts the Practical Alchemy show on New Reality TV and writes about alchemy, meditation and the ways AI might serve awakening, including on Substack.

Worth Knowing
Tom Evans is a meditation guide, ambient music composer, and author who frames himself as a mystic engineer and contemporary alchemist working within New Reality Journeys. Unlike meditation teachers who compartmentalize practice into separate tracks—here's the breathing exercise, here's the philosophy, here's the music—Evans refuses these boundaries and instead treats meditation, consciousness research, storytelling, and technology as interconnected awakening tools. His published work spans the novel Soulwave, a post-dystopian cyberpunk exploration of a universe built on soulwaves (waves of consciousness energy), and This We Know, written from first draft to print in fourteen days in 2012. He's composed albums like Origins (2025) and Stygian (2022) specifically as guided perceptual experiences, not background listening. People are drawn to his work because he takes consciousness and creativity seriously without the clichéd spirituality that typically accompanies meditation instruction—his teaching style aims to awaken nascent human potential with what he describes as calm, clarity, and fun, a deliberately unsentimental tone. His YouTube channel and ambient music catalog on Spotify attract listeners and students who want meditation that doesn't require them to abandon intellectual rigor or imaginative thinking. What distinguishes Evans in an oversaturated meditation marketplace is that he treats you as someone with both a mind and an imagination, not as someone who needs rescue from thought.
