Professional Triathlete (Retired)
Daniela Ryf is a Swiss triathlon legend whose ten combined Ironman and 70.3 World Championship titles place her among the most decorated endurance athletes in history. Nicknamed "The Angry Bird" for her famously fierce race expression, Ryf dominated women's long-distance triathlon for nearly a decade, winning four consecutive Ironman World Championships from 2015 to 2018.
A former Olympic swimmer for Switzerland, Ryf transitioned to triathlon and quickly established herself as the most dominant force the sport had ever seen. Her ability to crush the bike leg and then hold a competitive marathon made her virtually unbeatable during her peak years. Ryf retired as the winningest female Ironman athlete in history.
