Portland Run Collective
A weekly run club that built a membership empire
Results shown are illustrative examples based on typical platform outcomes. Organization names and individuals are fictional representations.
The Challenge
Portland Run Collective started as a free Wednesday night run club with 30 regulars. The founders wanted to build a sustainable business with paid memberships, coached programs, and exclusive events — but had no infrastructure to manage recurring payments, member communication, or event-specific check-ins.
How EnduranceFinder Helped
EnduranceFinder's recurring event and membership tools let PRC offer tiered memberships: a free social tier, a coached training tier, and a VIP tier with race entries included. Integrated email sequences onboarded new members, and the scanner app handled check-ins at weekly runs to track attendance.
The Results
“We were giving away free runs and wondering how to make this sustainable. EnduranceFinder let us layer in paid memberships without losing our community feel. Now we have 2,400 paying members and three full-time coaches.”
