Bridges Retreat Centre Franschhoek

Beautifully set against majestic mountains minutes from Franschhoek, Bridges Retreat Centre operates as a dual-mission organisation. One branch provides an inspirational space where community-serving organisations can host focused, short-term retreats with comfortable accommodation, nourishing meals, and a peaceful setting that fosters emotional, mental, relational and spiritual growth. The centre is a member of Christian Camping Southern Africa.

The facility comprises two main campuses designed for different group sizes. The Vineyard Campus accommodates 30–60 people and offers exclusive use of conference and meeting rooms, pool, and fire pit, with additional access to sports field, walking path, and basketball court. The Treehouse Campus serves mid to large-sized groups of 60–149 people with exclusive use of meeting rooms and pool, plus shared access to recreational facilities. For groups over 100 people, the entire facility can be booked for exclusive use.

All proceeds from accommodation and retreat bookings support the Bridges Outdoor Education Programme, the centre's second mission. This programme provides enriching and educational camp experiences for children from under-resourced communities, where participants develop values and life skills intended to positively impact the trajectory of their lives. The centre offers fully catered stays with a large selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts, with meals selected before arrival.

The setting—majestic mountains, walking paths, sports facilities, and braai areas—creates an environment designed for groups ranging from leadership strengthening and family camps to marriage retreats, church getaways, school trips, youth retreats, and sports workshops. Accommodation includes family rooms with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, with bedding included in all stays.
