EnduranceFinder supports four question types: short text (up to 500 characters), long text (up to 2,000 characters), dropdown select with custom options, and checkbox for waivers or opt-ins.

Can I ask questions per athlete or per order?

Yes. Each question can be scoped to per-athlete (asked for every registered athlete) or per-order (asked once at checkout). Use per-athlete for things like t-shirt sizes and emergency contacts, and per-order for billing info or marketing attribution.

Are there pre-built question templates?

Yes. EnduranceFinder includes one-click templates for common questions: emergency contact, t-shirt size, estimated finish time, medical conditions, running club, and liability waiver acceptance.

How do I export athlete responses?

All custom question responses are included in your athlete CSV export. You can download the full dataset from your race dashboard, with each question appearing as a separate column.

Which EnduranceFinder plans include Custom Questions?

Custom Questions are available on the Elevate and Amplify plans. Both include the full question builder at no additional cost beyond the standard per-registration platform fee.

Can I make questions required?

Yes. Each question can be marked as required or optional. Required questions must be answered before registration can complete. We recommend keeping required fields to a minimum to reduce registration abandonment.
