Nuna Holistic Retreat Center sits at 7008 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, Florida, and works within a narrow, deliberate remit. The founder and CEO is Lucia Gabriela, a Somatic Intimacy Leader with over fourteen years of professional experience. Her work at Nuna draws on breathwork, vocal expression, body awareness, movement, somatic tracking and consent-based touch. She is also the creator of the Tantrikink® Methodology, a framework that integrates elements of Tantra and conscious kink; those trainings are taught through her academy and immersive programs, while the clinical application of somatic intimacy work belongs to her private practice at Nuna. Beyond the centre, she leads Sacred Love Temple and is the visionary behind the Sol y Luna Festival and Sol y Luna Retreat.
The method is described as similar to somatic experiencing, sensorimotor psychotherapy and bioenergetics.
